Operational Guides

01. Altitude Acclimatization Metrics

Do not rely solely on how you feel. Objective monitoring of resting heart rate and blood oxygen saturation is mandatory. A drop below 85% SpO2 at base camp requires immediate descent, irrespective of subjective wellness.

02. The Rule of Three in Anchoring

Redundancy is not paranoia; it is professional standard. Every critical load-bearing point must feature at least three independent anchors sharing the load dynamically. Never trust a single point of failure in alpine environments.

03. Hydration Pre-Loading

Thirst is a delayed indicator. In desert operations, hydration must commence 48 hours prior to deployment. Consume 1 liter of electrolyte-balanced fluid per 20kg of body weight daily before entering the operational theater.

04. Cold-Shock Response Mitigation

When entering sub-10°C water, the mammalian dive reflex can trigger involuntary gasping. Train your vagus nerve through progressive exposure. Focus strictly on exhalation during the first 60 seconds of immersion.

05. Cognitive Triage Under Stress

When adrenaline spikes, cognitive bandwidth narrows. Employ the 'Stop-Breathe-Assess-Act' protocol. Never make a non-immediate survival decision while heart rate exceeds 140 BPM unless actively engaged in evasion.

06. Gear De-escalation Protocol

Your equipment requires as much recovery as you do. Immediate salt-water purging for oceanic gear and micro-fracture inspection for climbing hardware must be executed within 2 hours of operational conclusion. No exceptions.
